A few Parkland curlers showed off their best stuff on day one of the Strathcona Trust Senior Men's Provincial Championship.

First up it was Gilbert Plains Butch Mouck and his foursome that won both of their games today.

They first beat the McLeod rink 7-6 and followed that up with a big 7-2 win over the McCannell foursome.

Sifton's Peter Prokopowich is on Kelly Robertson's team and they also had a perfect 2-0 day.

They easily handled team Brooks and Gitzel, 6-3 and 6-2 respectively.

Ray Baker is fifth on the Robertson team.

Both teams will continue their round-robin tomorrow with two games.
