116 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified today.

Manitoba reports 67 of today's cases are from unvaccinated people, 11 from partially vaccinated people, and 38 from fully vaccinated people. 

Public Health officials also note that of today's cases:

  • 20 are in the Prairie Mountain Health region, with 10 not fully vaccinated.
  • Eight are in the Interlake-Eastern Health region, with four not fully vaccinated.
  • 34 are in the Northern Health region, with 20 not fully vaccinated.
  • 46 are in the Southern Health region, with 38 not fully vaccinated.
  • Eight are in the Winnipeg Health region, with six not fully vaccinated.

Dauphin has one new recovery today, bringing the total number of active cases in the city to one.

The numbers of active cases in other Parkland health districts are:

Riding Mountain (0), Swan River (3), Duck Mountain (28), Porcupine Mountain (25), Agassiz Mountain (3), Asessippi (7), Little Saskatchewan (5), Whitemud (2). Brandon has 11 active cases.

In the Interlake, the Eriksdale/Ashern health district has one active case. The Fisher/Peguis district has 21 active cases.

The current five-day test positivity rate is 3.8 percent provincially. 3,656 laboratory tests were completed yesterday.

There are 1,153 active COVID-19 cases in the province.

56 Manitobans are hospitalized with active COVID-19.

19 Manitobans are in intensive care units with active COVID-19.
