The Westman Senior Soccer League season is just around the corner and Dauphin Rangers FC are continuing their practice sessions.
The Rangers are looking for a better campaign this time around after a tough year in 2014.
Player and Coach, Jason Dando, says they're still practicing as the start of the season gets closer and anyone is welcome to come out and join the team.
"So far most practices we've had 8-10 guys, but I have a list of 13 or 14 players coming back from last year. Some aren't home yet or have other commitments like work. Practices are Monday at 7pm at the DRCSS and Wednesday at the Vermillion Sportsplex at 7pm."
Dando also says, after last year's struggles the Rangers believe they'll be better with guys coming back.
"It'll be basically the second year. Last year we had a lot of trouble with eight new guys, but those eight players are coming back this year. So it's mostly returning guys, and we didn't know the type of competition we had last year. Now we know what we have ahead of us so it's basically just finishing games."
Dando adds Dauphin Rangers FC are hoping to get the 2015 season underway this weekend (May long), but the schedule is still in the works.
The club will likely play right around 15 contests through the summer with the year ending in August.
