It's only the start of the season, and the Gilbert Plains Trojans varsity girls volleyball team are already champions.
The Trojans looked dominant all weekend and won their home tournament.
In the round-robin, Gilbert Plains won all 10 of their sets. Entering the playoffs as the top seed, the Trojans swept Goose Lake of Roblin in the semifinals.
With a championship on the line, it was all Gilbert Plains. They swept Hapnot, 25-21 and 25-22.
