The Dauphin Kings have clinched second place in the MGEU West Division.
While it was closer than many would have thought, two points at the end of day is all that matters. Ty Pratte scored the overtime winner as the Kings came from behind to beat Northern Manitoba, 2-1.
Ethan Stewart had the lone assist on the overtime winner. That means he's extended his point streak to 13 games. In that time, he has eight goals and 13 assists.
Luke Myhre tied the game with a tip in front in the third period after Northern Manitoba opened the scoring late in the second.
Bryson Yaschyshyn earned his 18th win of the season between the pipes for the Kings.
Dauphin will open the playoffs next Friday at Credit Union Place.
Before that, the Kings play their final game of the regular season on Saturday when they host the Blues.
