After a previous term on Ethelbert Municipal council, and soem previous attempts to secure the top job in that area, Kevin Boese has finally reached the top of the mountain.
Boese received close to 60 per cent of the vote on Wednesday night to defeat Mike Semeniuk and become the new Reeve of the Municipality.
Here is Kevin on why becoming Reeve was so important to him.
"I have lived here for quite a few years already, and we just want to keep this place home, and keep it here for young families. We want to help small businesses thrive, we want to make it very viable for everybody to live here. The ultimate goal is to still have a small town and a place for our kids to grow up in."
Joining Boese at the council table will be Richard Evans, Bruce Podolsky, Cory Chymy and Debbie Jodouin.
