Canada's National Ukrainian Festival is one of the Parkland's biggest events every year. This year, the event had to be cancelled as a result of flooding and unavailable hospital services, but they plan to be back bigger and better for the 2027 edition.
Cory Lafontaine, CNUF Second Vice President, tickets are set to go on sale very soon. Plus, weekend passes are usually available first, but not this time - on opening day, you'll be able to get any CNUF tickets, including day passes.
"Starting Monday, November 2nd, tickets are going on sale. Got a great deal on those early bird weekend passes, they're only $160, now this is limited time guys, if you want to get your hands on a really good deal and get those tickets, you gotta do that real soon...something a little different this year as well, we're releasing our day passes and our camping passes well. We haven't done that in quite a number of years, usually we stagger it so you can get your weekend passes first," said Lafontaine.
Earlier in the year, after the 2026 Festival was cancelled, CNUF made the announcement that anyone who had purchased a 2026 CNUF ticket would be able to either roll that over to the 2027 Festival, or get a refund. Lafontaine said the vast majority of 2026 Festival ticket holders chose to roll their tickets over to 2027, so you can expect a weekend packed full of fun.
"The majority of the patrons for Festival decided to roll over their tickets for next year, because they're really excited and really wanted to come to Festival, and they felt bad that they couldn't come because of the cancellation, but a lot of people are real excited about coming back for 2027...we're very lucky, very fortunate to be able to come back again this year for 2027, and we've got a stellar lineup. Our entertainment committee is doing a fantastic job of getting everybody organized, all the entertainment, all the festivities, all the fun," said Lafontaine.
Starting Monday, November 2nd, you can get your Canada's National Ukrainian Festival 2027 tickets either online at www.cnuf.ca, or in-person at the festival office in the Dauphin Marketplace Mall.
