Saturday, October 3rd promises to be a fun evening for all men and women who attend the annual Dauphin Ducks Unlimited Men's group banquet.
It will take place at the 8th avenue hall, with the doors opening at 5:30, cocktails at 6, and dinner at 7.
That will be followed by several games, and silent and live auctions.
Local group board chair Luke McMillan explains where the evening's proceeds go towards.
"They go to Ducks Unlimited Canada, and to wetlands projects that they maintain throughout the parkland, and throughout Manitoba and Canada as a whole."
Over the past year, the group dedicated a bench in Vermillion Park in honour of Doug Deans, who has been a long time supporter of the local Ducks Unlimited group.
