Harvest is now 8 per cent complete in the Northwest region, according to the latest Manitoba Agriculture Crop Report.
Wet conditions both early in the week and on the weekend slowed harvest progress in some areas.
Fall rye and winter wheat harvest is approximately 95% complete, while 20 per cent of the spring wheat crop is in the bin, as
it is mostly in the hard dough stage with some later seeded fields behind.
The field pea crop is about 50 per cent harvested, as a majority of the crop has moved into the R7 stage.
A majority of the soybean crop is in the R6-R7 stage and looking good where excess moisture hasn’t delayed growth.
And 2 per cent of the Canola crop is harvested, as fields continue to range in terms of stages, with most of the crop nearing harvest maturity.
Fields that experienced excess moisture have patches of delayed growth that are still flowering.
Across the province, 28 per cent of this year's crop has been taken off.
