Police are investigating a pair of fatal collisions in the Alsonsa/Sandy Bay area.
A 53-year old man from the RM of Alonsa is dead following a single vehicle crash last Friday west of that community,
Ste Rose RCMP say it appears the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and left the highway, before it flipped and landed in the ditch.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
In the other incident, a 29-year-old man died after the all-terrain vehicle he was driving collided with a pickup truck early Sunday in Sandy Bay.
Manitoba First Nations Police Service says the ATV's driver was heading south when he drove through the intersection without stopping, colliding with the rear end of an eastbound pickup truck.
The ATV driver was transported to hospital in Portage where he died from his injuries, while the pickup driver was not injured.
