A nine-year-old is dead after a rollover on Monday evening.
At 5:15 on Monday, Dauphin RCMP responded to the rollover involving a utility terrain vehicle outside of a home in the RM of Dauphin. A 40-year-old man was driving the UTV with his daughter.
The vehicle turned while on the property towards the home when it rolled. The girl suffered significant injuries. Lifesaving measures were attempted, but they were unsuccessful. The child passed away.
The father was sent to the hospital in Winnipeg with non-life-threatening injuries.
