Dauphin RCMP made an arrest last weekend after a man was reported to have stolen a laptop and cellphone from a church official.
According to their news release, they responded to the report of a theft on August 16th around 9:30 AM, at a church on 5th Avenue Northeast. They found that a suspect had entered the church, and stole a laptop and cellphone when a church official was distracted.
The suspect was identified and arrested without incident later that evening, outside of a business on Memorial Boulevard. The stolen items were not recovered, and the suspect was released on an undertaking.
