A 17-year-old from Keeseekoose First Nation in Saskatchewan has a court date after a run-in with authorities.

On Monday at 9:06 a.m., Swan River RCMP responded to a report of damage to a business on 5th Avenue North. The front door of the business had been smashed with a brick found inside the doorway.

Police identified the suspect via security footage from a nearby business. They then arrested the youth without incident.

He was released into the care of an adult with a future court date.
