A 52-year-old man from the RM of Swan Valley West was arrested and charged last week.
On July 7, Jason Mullin was arrested outside a business on the 1200 block of Main Street in Swan River. He was wanted on a charge of dangerous driving in connection with a two-vehicle collision on Highway 10 in November 2025.
While he was being arrested, officers saw a rifle in the backseat of his parked vehicle.
He was additionally charged with possession of a firearm when knowing possession is unauthorized.
