Yesterday at around 1:45 PM, Roblin RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision, at the intersection of Provincial Road 484 and Road 153 North.
When officers arrived, they found a flipped semi-truck blocking the road, which had collided with a van that sustained significant damage.
The 42 year old driver of the van, a man from Roblin, died at the scene. The 31 year old driver of the semi, also from Roblin, was taken to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening condition.
At this time, RCMP believe the van was travelling northbound on Provincial Road 484, and the semi was travelling westbound on Road 153 North. The intersection is controlled by stop signs for east and westbound traffic.
Roblin RCMP continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
