A Swan River man has been charged following reports of a break-in in Dauphin over the weekend.
RCMP in the city were alerted just after 7 am on Saturday about an individual breaking into a shed on a residential property on 3rd Avenue North East.
A suspect fled the scene, but was found by police a short distance away, hiding in a dumpster.
38-year-old Brendan Komarnicki remains in custody, and has been charged with break and enter, and mischief under $5,000.
