The fire hazard is up to high in Riding Mountain National Park.
And while there are currently no fire bans in place, park officials are asking visitors to take extra care in order to prevent wildfires.
That includes keeping campfires in designated firepits or approved appliances, never leaving any fire unattended, and making sure to soak, stir and fully extinguish any campfire when you are finished.
These small actions go a long way towards protecting the park, its communities, and wildlife.
