This past weekend was a record breaking one for the Rotary Club of Dauphin and its spring book sale.
Organizer Jean-Louis Guillas says the final sales numbers are in, with the event raising $13,013.
"Every day topped the previous day. It was a triumph all the way through. We connected lots of people with good books. It was great that the Friday was an inservice day, so lots of families came in with their kids to shop for books."
Guillas thanks the entire community, as well as all of their volunteers, for making the event another huge success.
Proceeds will go towards youth programs in Dauphin supported by the local Rotary club.
