Manitoba Crown Lands will be holding an online auction later this month to determine who can lease select crop land parcels across the province.
The auction will take place February 23rd to 27th online through Garton's Auction Services website.
Auctioneer Larry Garton says there will be 11 pieces of land across the province up for auction this year.
"Two are here in the Parkland. One is in the R-M of Gilbert Plains - there is 160+ acres of hay land that is up for lease. There is another one in the R-M of Mountain. The rest of them are in the R-M of Kelsey and a couple of other areas in the province."
Prospective bidders must first register and be approved by the province before they can place bids on any parcels of land.
The registration process begins on February 23rd through the auction site at gartonsauction.com.
