The Dauphin Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at Queen Apartments at approximately 6:45 on Friday night.
The building is located on Main Street South in Dauphin.
There are no injuries reported however, one male has been transported to the hospital as a precaution.
The fire had made its way between a second roof constructed over the original several years ago, making it difficult for crews to access.
The road is closed with crews remaining on scene.
