It's now time to reveal another player that will play on the Parkland Rangers this season, and that player is Darrin Chrisp.

The 17-year-old will be one of the veterans this year and will be coming off a season in which he played 27 games last season for the Rangers.

"Making the Parkland Midget AAA team has always been a dream for me growing up in Dauphin," said Chrisp. "It's a lot of fun being on the team. It's a whole new calibre of hockey, and I can't wait to kick it off."

Chrisp also took part in the Dauphin Kings training camp which took place earlier this month.

"It gave me some experience playing at another level of hockey," said Chrisp. "It got my boots ready, and when you play with better hockey players, you learn some things."

Darrin and the rest of the Rangers kick off their season this Friday.

"I think the team is shaping up very well," said Chrisp. "We have a lot of returning guys, and I really think we can make a deep playoff run."

Puck drop on Friday is set for 7:30 at Credit Union Place against the Brandon Wheat Kings.
