Dauphin's first period Sunday was ok as they only trailed Portage by one after 20 minutes. The goal scored by the Terriers was in the final minute of the opening frame. After that things seem to unravel for the Kings. They allowed four goals against in the second, the first two were less than a minute apart and the same went for the two after that. In the third period Dauphin got on the board as Landon Plett notched his fifth of the season to break Zac Robidoux's shut out bid. Portage would add two more in the final period.
Shenanigans took place in the third period with a number of fights and scrums. Even though this was the last meeting between the two teams this regular season, they could cross paths in the playoffs. However that part will likely be up to the Kings and not the Terriers. Portage won the 2014-15 season series 6-0.
