The Manitoba Métis Federation chartered a plane and sent 120 food hampers and 200 gifts.

Every family received a turkey and every child in school received a Christmas gift.

David Chartrand, MMF President, stated that everyone should have a Christmas and he wanted to make sure that the people in north knew they were not forgotten about.
