Entering their 27th year starting up on October 25th, the annual program will be serving students in the area hot-meals throughout the next couple of months.

Resource Development Coordinator at the Friendship Centre, Gail Welburn says the need for the program is still there.

"I think the greatest pay for anyone is to go and see the program being delivered in the schools... the kids are so receptive, you talk to some of the school officials they talk about attendance being up and I feel that we've got a lot of kids that need the program."

The Friendship Centre is currently looking for a Coordinator for the program, which is a paid position.
