BRYAN ADAMS PHOTOGRAPHS
Bryan Adams is setting down his electric guitar for a special one-night exhibition of his photography at Toronto's Royal Ontario Museum.
The ``Summer of '69'' rocker is set to unveil ``Canadians,'' a curated collection of portraits to mark Canada's sesquicentennial, at the ROM Ball black-tie fundraiser on May 6.
Organizers say the exhibit will feature portraits of 28 Canadian icons including Margaret Atwood, Michael Buble, the Weeknd, Joni Mitchell, Wayne Gretzky and Michael J. Fox.
A shot that Adams captured of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Sophie Gregoire Trudeau backstage at the Juno Awards in Ottawa will also be on display.
The ROM Ball will open with Tony-nominated actress Louise Pitre performing the national anthem, while the dinner party will be headlined by singer Rufus Wainwright.

SESSION GUITARIST BRUCE LANGHORNE DIES
The musician credited with inspiring Bob Dylan to write the song ``Mr Tambourine Man'' has died. Session guitarist Bruce Langhorne died Friday of kidney failure at his home in Venice, California, according to a family friend. He was 78.
Langhorne was a mainstay of the Greenwich Village folk rock scene in the 1950s and '60s. He played on Dylan's ``Bringing It All Back Home'' album in 1965. Dylan said in the liner notes of his ``Biograph'' boxed set that Langhorne played a tambourine as big as a wagon wheel and that image stuck in his head. Langhorne also played on albums by Joan Baez, John Sebastian and Ramblin' Jack Elliott.

WARPED TOUR CHANGES POLICY ON FREE PARENT TICKETS
The Warped Tour has reversed course on its free parent ticket policy. For the past two years, the tour offered free admission to a parent with a child who had bought a ticket.
This year, the tour had eliminated that, arguing that while the lineup is aimed at teens and young adults, it also included several legacy acts. The Warped Tour has issued a statement saying they tried to strike a balance and they admit they tipped too far, so Warped will bring back the program. The tour has had a ``reverse day care'' tent for parents for years. This year's Warped Tour begins June 16th in Seattle, featuring American Authors, Goldfinger, GWAR, The Ataris and Save Ferris.

THE CHAINSMOKERS HIT NUMBER ONE
The Chainsmokers' first full-length album has hit number one its first week out. Billboard reports ``Memories...Do Not Open'' moved 221-thousand units. Last week's number one, ``More Life'' by Drake, drops to second.

TRISHA YEARWOOD REVEALS HER WAX FIGURE IN NASHVILLE
The Trisha Yearwood figurine at Madame Tussauds Nashville is so realistic it even has some of her own hair extensions. Yearwood unveiled the figure on Thursday and joked that her husband, Garth Brooks, might really like ``a quiet Trisha.'' Yearwood took a selfie with the Justin Timberlake figure because she knows him and wants to send it to him to show they were hanging out.

OZZY OSBOURNE WILL PLAY STURGIS
Ozzy Osbourne will attempt to make more noise than hundreds of motorcycles. He will perform at this year's Sturgis Motorcycle Rally on April 9th. The annual event draws thousands of people to the Black Hills of South Dakota every year.

PRINCE DEATH INVESTIGATION
This week will mark one year since the shocking news that Prince was found dead at his home near Minneapolis. But it appears investigators are apparently no closer to determining whether anyone might end up being held to blame criminally in the case. An official with knowledge of the investigation says investigators have yet to speak with a key associate of the musician. And there has been no move to ask a grand jury to consider whether criminal charges might be filed.
Prince died of an accidental overdose of fentanyl -- and counterfeit pills were found in a search of Paisley Park.

PRINCE - ESTATE
No one has officially named the legal heirs to Prince's estate. But it appears once his sister and her five half-siblings are settled in as inheritors of his fortune, there will be plenty to divvy up. In the 12-months since his death, the executors of his estate have turned his Paisley Park home and recording studios into as museum and concert hall. His music is available on a number of streaming services -- something that hadn't been the case before. And there will be a remastered version of his iconic album, ``Purple Rain'' due out in June, along with two other albums of unreleased music. The executors haven't spelled out how much money this will all bring in -- but it will likely be more than a little bit.

REVENUES FROM PRINCE'S PAISLEY PARK GO BACK INTO PAISLEY PARK
Have you put off home repairs for way too long? Turns out Prince did too. Paisley Park manager Joel Weinshanker says most of the money from admissions to Prince's compound is going toward upkeep. He says Paisley Park was in ``grave disrepair'' when Prince died. He says the heating and cooling system needed replacing, some rooms that stored videos had water damage and Prince's outfits were improperly stored.
Weinshanker won't say how much money Paisley Park has made since it opened to the public, but he says close to 100-thousand people have toured the place. Friday is the first anniversary of Prince's death. This weekend, Paisley Park will host The Revolution, Morris Day and the Time, New Power Revolution and members of 3RDEYEGIRL.

ANN WILSON'S HUSBAND SENTENCED IN INCIDENT INVOLVING NANCY WILSON'S KIDS
The husband of singer Ann Wilson of Heart has received a suspended sentence of 364-days in jail after he pleaded guilty to choking the 16-year-old twin sons of guitarist Nancy Wilson. Dean Witter also will serve two years of probation, pay restitution and have no contact with his nephews, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. Authorities say the boys wanted to see Ann Wilson's new tour bus and Wetter let them do that as long as they didn't let the dogs out. Authorities say one of the boys exited first and left the door open for his brother and stepsister, and Wetter immediately became upset. The sheriff's report says Wetter punched the boy and grabbed him by the throat, then grabbed the other twin by the throat when he tried to intervene. Wetter and Ann Wilson have been married for two years. The Wilson sisters have said Heart is on hiatus and they're working on separate projects.

RADIOHEAD'S COACHELLA SET IS HIT WITH TECHNICAL PROBLEMS
For a while at Coachella, the only people who could hear Radiohead was Radiohead. The Los Angeles Times reports Radiohead's headlining spot on Friday was marred with sound problems that were not apparent on stage. The band left the stage twice.
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke initially blamed the problem on ``aliens.'' Yorke later said, ``I'd love to tell you a joke, lighten the mood, something like that. But this is Radiohead.''

LORETTA LYNN MARKS 85 YEARS
Loretta Lynn joked she didn't know why people were making such a fuss over her 85th birthday concert in Nashville over the weekend. Rolling Stone quotes Lynn as saying she's only 26. She also says she can work any 26-year-old girl under the table any day. Her sisters Crystal Gayle and Peggy Sue Wright, her daughters Patsy and Peggy Lynn, and Martina McBride were special guests.

JULIAN LENNON AND HIS FATHER'S WHITE FEATHER
John Lennon once told his son, Julian, that should he ever die, he'd let Julian know that everything was all right with a white feather. Julian Lennon says he thought that was odd, told his mother and forgot about it. Julian Lennon says years later he was on tour in Australia and the Mirning tribe gave him a white swan's feather. He took that as a sign that it was his turn to do something to help the world. Julian Lennon has written a children's environmental book called ``Touch The Earth'' that follows a group of kids as they travel the globe on the White Feather Flier. It's out now.

JAMIROQUAI KEYBOARDIST TOBY SMITH DIES
Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay confirms the death of the group's original keyboardist Toby Smith.
Kay writes on Facebook Smith died Thursday of a ``voracious illness,'' but he does not say what that is. Smith was 46. Kay says Smith had an ``obtuse sense of humour'' and there would have been no Jamiroquai without Smith. Jamiroquai are probably best known for the 1996 hits ``Virtual Insanity'' and ``Cosmic Girl.''
Smith left the band in 2002.
