Nomination Deadline for the City of Dauphin.

Anyone interested in running for Mayor or City Council in the 2026 Municipal Election has until 4:30 pm. on Tuesday, September 22 to register and submit their nomination. 

Nomination papers will be accepted from registered candidates at City Hall on September, 17, 18, 21 and 22, between 9am and 4:30pm.

Nomination papers must be signed by at least 25 eligible voters and accompanied by the candidate’s declaration of qualification.

The Municipal Election takes place Wednesday, October 28, 2026, when voters will elect 1 Mayor and 6 councilors. 

Following the close of nominations, the City will publish the names of the candidates for the 2026 Municipal Election.
