Grady Hobbs and Austin Lamotte both had a goal and an assist, but it wasn't near enough as Dauphin dropped their first game in three weeks.

Playing against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines, the Kings looked flat at times in a 5-2 loss at Credit Union Place.

It took Wayway just 2:07 to open the scoring. However, the Kings would immediately get back in it as Lamotte tied it just 50 seconds later.

Wayway would then score three straight to take a 4-1 lead before Grady Hobbs would trim the deficit in half at 4-2 after 40.

That was as close as Dauphin would get, however, as Wayway scored another goal early in the third to pick up two points.

The loss drops Dauphin to 16-11-3-2 and they remain in sixth place. Wayway is now 18-12-2-2 and they're in fourth place in the league.

Darnell Duff has the broadcasts this weekend when Dauphin is in Winkler. The pregame show on Friday and Saturday is pegged for 7:15.
