Another golf course in the Parkland is set to open and this time it's the Poplar Ridge Golf Course.

It will open on Friday morning for the season.

"The course wintered very well and most of the greens are in very good shape," said Lavern Popple, Director of Golf. "Everything is looking green and we're ready to go."

The special for now will be $50 which allows you to golf all day with a cart. On Mondays, it's $33 for 18 holes with a cart.

"Our course is in very good condition and it's very playable," said Popple. "It offers challenges but at the same time, it's very fair. It's an enjoyable course to play."
