The host Parkland Rangers will be joined by the Kenora Thistles (NW.ONT), Pembina Valley Hawks (MB) and Regina Pat Canadians (SASK).

Parkland and Kenora already knew they’d be at the event before the playoffs even began. Saturday evening both the Pembina Valley Hawks and Regina Pat Canadians advanced.

In Brandon the Pembina Valley Hawks won an intense game five, winner take all contest. They beat the Brandon AAA Wheat Kings 4-3 in overtime. You can watch the game winning goal for FREE below! Pembina Valley also got the (4) Eastman Selects and (1) Winnipeg Wild in the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League playoffs.

In Saskatchewan the Regina Pat Canadians were one of the ‘teams to beat’ in the province’s post season. They rolled to victory, losing just once in the playoffs. That one loss came in game two of their Championship Series with the Battlefords Stars. They beat the Stars in four games to take the title. Regina also beat out (7) Yorkton and (3) Notre Dame in the playoffs

If you don’t have tickets yet for the Midget West Regional you can buy them on Monday and Tuesday at 730 CKDM and The Dauphin Herald in Dauphin. On WEDNESDAY (April 1st) at the Credit Union Place South Ticket Office 730 CKDM will be on location with local celebrities from 10am to 5pm. So head down and grab your weekend passes, they’re $35 for adults and kids 12 and under get in for FREE!
