Saturday 5 Clippers Girls were named to Westman Regional Rugby 7s teams that will compete in Brandon in October. Sunday three boys were named to regional squads.
Brendin Carberry and Brady Dyck have been named to the U15 Westman 7s team.
Zane Brindle has made the cut and will play on the U17 Westman team.
Competition takes place over Thanksgiving weekend.

The Dauphin Kings dropped their seconds game of the season on the road against the OCN Blizzard. The Blizzard used a high tempo first period to earn a two goal cushion, and would later capitalize on a 5-on-3 powerplay to make it 3-0.
Both teams had plenty of powerplay opportunities. Dauphin's powerplay started with an extended 5 minute man advantage after Hayden Pierce was up-ended on a boarding call. In total the Kings had 8 powerplay chances. OCN had 6 powerplay chances of their own.
The Kings now look ahead to Friday's Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Home Opener against the Swan Valley Stampeders.

Rugby Manitoba is will host a regional rugby 7s competition to take place in the fall of each year. This year it's being held in Brandon during the Thanksgiving weekend.
Regional teams are being constructed based on Sport Manitoba regional boundaries: Central, Norman, Eastman, Westman, and two Winnipeg teams. The Parkland has merged into Westman, and Interlake has combined with Eastman for future Sport Manitoba competitions.
Tryouts were held for the team on Thursday, and five Clippers rugby players made the cut.
Carly Ryz and Sharaina Cottick have been named to the U15 Team. Kaila Stratuliak and Kaylee Dyck were named to the U17 'A' team, while Kaylie Carberry was named to the U17 'B' Team.
The Clippers Rugby 7s team plays again Sunday at a rugby jamboree in Souris. Dauphin hosts their own 7s jamboree on Oct. 3rd.

The Dauphin Kings didn't start their season they would have liked to.
The Kings opened the season on the road last night with a 3-1 loss against the Swan Valley Stampeders.
Keaton Leininger scored the Kings lone goal, and Brandon Holtby stopped 32 of 35 shots in the loss.
The Kings are in action again Saturday night in OCN.
