The DRCSS will host a special guest in October.

After the tour's wild success last fall, and much demand the Brandon University Bobcats volleyball and basketball teams will again tour rural Manitoba.

The Bobcats men's volleyball team will make a stop in Dauphin Thursday, October 6th at the end of the tour before they begin Canadian Interuniversity Sport competition.

More details will be provided closer to the event. 

 

The Dauphin Kings completed a trade with the OCN Blizzard this week.

Kings defenseman Branden Storey from Grandview, MB has been sent to the Blizzard for future considerations.

Storey spent last season with the Parkland Midget Rangers, earning 19 points (5G, 14A) in 32 games.

The Dauphin Rec Hockey League registration fee will increase after next Friday. 

 

The Dauphin Clippers girls varsity volleyball team is playing in the Lorenzo Cougar Volleyball Classic at the University of Regina this weekend.
 
The Clippers begin defense of their provincial title this season. The Clippers have the benefit of 8 players returning from last year's championship team.
 
Team coach Jeremy Love says complacency will be their biggest enemy.
 
Dauphin is in Pool G with Lumsden, Sheldon Williams, and Carnduff. They kick off the tournament Friday afternoon against Carnduff.

The Dauphin Kings could not take down the Swan Valley Stampeders Tuesday night at Centennial Arena.

The Kings travel to Centennial Arena to face-off with Swan Valley Tuesday night at 7:30pm.

The Dauphin Kings opened their pre-season with a 4-2 win over the Swan Valley Stampeders Monday night.

The Dauphin Kings begin their season tonight against Swan Valley, puck drop is 7:30pm at Credit Union Place.
