Good news for Dauphin Minor Baseball players and their families. It looks like the organization will remain.
Earlier this month there were concerns that the organization would have to dissolve as the none of the current board members were returning, and they had no new applicants.
Baseball Manitoba Executive Director Morgan De Pena has said that six nominees have since stepped forward to run for board positions, which means the minimum of five will be accounted for.
An official decision about the organization's fate will be made next Wednesday.

Earlier in October the Waywayseecappo Wolverines defeated the Dauphin Kings 6-3. Tuesday night the Kings decided to return the favour with a 6-3 win of their own.
The Kings saw scoring from all over.
Brett Piper opened the scoring for the Kings at 4:35 in the first period after a nice setup from Howard Yawit.
Former King Trevor Kavanaugh evened the score for Wayway with his trademark cannon from the point on the power play a few minutes later.
The Wolverines scored again before the end of the first on a goal from Dylan Tanner, assisted by Kevin Takatch and Brandon Stanley. The assist was the first of three for Stanley on the night.
Daniel Chartrand scored the lone goal of the second period, marking his fourth of the year assisted by Matty Greening and new Danish defenseman Luddi Adamsen.
In the third period the flood gates opened.
Luddi Adamsen scored his first goal in his first game with the Kings to make for a two point night in his Kings debut. Riese Gaber and Keaton Leininger assisted on the Dane's first.
The Wolverines showed some resolve though, responding just 15 seconds later. AFter that it was all Kings.
Graeme Hore scored his third goal in a week, set up by Leininger again, and Ashton Clark.
Matthew Bartel's family made the trek all the way from Florida to attend Tuesday's game, and they picked the right time to attend their first Kings game. Bartel scored his first goal as a King to give the Kings some insurance.
Finally to add some local flare three local kids on the Kings combined on the Kings 6th goal of the night. Riese Gaber scored a marker set up by Matty Greening and Daniel Chartrand.
The Kings have now earned 7 of possible 8 points in their last four games, following an 11 game losing streak.
