The Dauphin Clippers girl varsity volleyball team is victorious once again.
The Clippers competed at a tournament over the weekend in Virden.
The Clippers struggled out of the gate, but later picked up their play.
"We started off rough, for the first time this season we had a little bit of adversity on the first day of pool play," said head coach Jeremy Love.
Heading into their last match of pool play there was a possible three way tie, which meant the Clippers would have finished third and outside the championship bracket.
Dauphin regained their confidence in that match, defeating Rivers to compete for the championship.
Dauphin defeated Killarney in the opening round of the championship bracket.
In the next round the Clippers met with another Parkland opponent in the Grandview Spartans. The Clippers were victorious moving on to the tournament final.
In the tournament final they met with a familiar opponent, the Major Pratt Trojans from Russell. The two had met in the championship final of the Neelin Dig tournament the weekend before where Dauphin were the victors.
The script was very much the same this time, the Clippers defeating the Trojans in two sets.
The Clippers and Trojans have seen a lot of each other this season.
"They beat us in Regina in September in the first tournament of our season," said Love. "Since then we've played them four times, and we've beat them four times. We kind of have them figured out and we were able to win."
The Clippers look ahead to Zone Championships in Swan River on Wednesday, before Interzones against Neepawa as they prepare to make a repeat trip to a provincial championship.
