The Parkland Rangers are in the midst of their longest losing streak this season (seven games), but they have a chance to break that tonight when they head on the road to take on the Southwest Cougars.

The Rangers losing streak dates back to December 16, but despite the streak, the Rangers are just six points back of a playoff spot, and a team they're chasing is the Cougars.

Tonight's the second meeting between the two teams, with the Rangers picking up a 3-2 win back in October.

Including tonight, the Rangers will play five of their next six games on the road, two of the games are against Brandon and the Winnipeg Bruins.

The Rangers will return to Credit Union Place on Sunday, as they welcome Norman, but first, it's the Rangers and Cougars tonight in Souris, and puck drop is set for 8:00 p.m.
