The best figure skaters in Western Manitoba will be in Dauphin tomorrow as the Parkland Regional Figure Skating Championships take place at Credit Union Place tomorrow morning.
"We have 33 skaters from across Western Manitoba, competing in six major events," said Daniel Gudmundson, Parkland Regional Championship Chairperson. "The top three finishers will move onto the Provincial Championships which will be held later this year."
Admission to the event is just $3.00, and you can pick up a program for $2.00.
"This event will give a fan great exposure to some very high-level figure skaters in our province," said Gudmundson. "That includes getting the chance to see the high-level skaters from Dauphin. It's really a great event, and if you're into figure skating, you definitely want to come check it out."
The event begins tomorrow morning at 9:30 and goes until 2:45 p.m.
