Over the past two weeks, the Dauphin Kings have improved immensely, and they will look to keep that going tonight when they welcome the OCN Blizzard to Credit Union Place.

Dating back to their thrilling 2-1 overtime win against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines on November 22, the Kings are still under .500 (2-4), but they are playing some of their best hockey, with the highest point coming in a 4-1 win against Winkler this past Saturday.

The last time the Kings hooked up with the Blizzard was late last month, and in that game, the Kings led 1-0 after 40 minutes of play, but eventually ended up falling 3-1.

Tonight will be the fourth meeting between the two, with the remaining two coming in the Pas on January 23 and February 14.

Danny Pion comes in riding the hot stick for the Kings. Since being acquired in a trade with the Steinbach Pistons, Pion has three goals in two games, while Matt Bartel has two goals in his past three games.

After tonight, the Kings will remain on home ice for their Annual "Teddy Bear Toss" game on Friday, before welcoming the Neepawa Natives on Sunday.

Puck drop tonight is set for 7:30.
