The Dauphin Clippers Varsity Boys volleyball team will be in action this weekend when they head to Brandon to take part in the Brandon University Varsity Boys Invitational.
"I think we've had a really good preseason, and start to the season," said Taylor Schmidt, Head Coach of the team. "We're putting our team together and figuring out where they need to be and we have a good game plan going in. We have a lot of multi-sport athletes, and this weekend we have all 10 of our members of the team coming out."
This weekend will be the first action for the Varsity Boys and it comes against a tough field.
"This being our first competition, we just want to worry about us and what we're doing on our side of the net," said Schmidt. "We want to do all the good things we've been doing in practice, and carry that into this competition.
The team will play four matches throughout the course of today.
