Some of the best golfers in Manitoba between the grades of nine and 12 will be in Gilbert Plains tomorrow to take part in the Manitoba High School Athletic Association Golf Provincial Championships that will be held at the Gilbert Plains Country Club.
The golfers will compete both in a team competition, as well as individually.
The local golfers from the DRCSS include:
Luke Davidson, Eric Prokopowich, Noah Wiens, and Lawson Yates.
The local golfers from GPCI include:
Eric Patenaude, Warren Jubenvill, Jayden Jubenvill, and Ryan Tokar

"It's pretty cool to be able to host a provincial event in our area," said Simon Chalke, who coaches the GPCI team. "Especially in a little town like Gilbert Plains.
