Whether you hate the Winnipeg Blue Bombers or are a die hard fan, if you enjoy sports, you can't help but say wow after just about each and every game the team plays in, especially Thursday nights in Montreal, as the Bombers came away with a 34-31 win in overtime.

It was a game in which both the offence shined at times, and the defence shined at times, which was the most promising because it seems that the Blue and Gold have finally figured out how to lock down defensively when needed.

Sure, giving up 31 points isn't the greatest, but when it came down to it, the Bombers made a stop and that's what really counts.

From last weeks game, Matt Nichols took a step back as far as production goes, completing on just over 68 percent of his passes, while throwing for only 227 yards, but he did throw for three touchdowns. But again, it was Andrew Harris who continues to have a monster year, who racked up over 100 yards once again for the Bombers.

In the win, the Bombers spoiled Nik Lewis' performance, as he passed Geroy Simon on the all time receptions list with his 10.

The Bombers are now 7-2 this season, 4-1 on the road and 16-6 in their last 22 regular season games, while with the loss, the Alouettes dropped to 3-6, which sees them remain in second place in the East Division.

Next week, it's the Labour Day Classic, and as usual, the Blue and Gold will be in Saskatchewan to take on the Roughriders, and you can hear that game right here on 730CKDM, as we are a proud member of the Blue Bomber Radio Network.
