It was a goaltenders duel, but the Portage Terriers were able to capture their third straight Turnbull cup with a 1-0 win over the OCN Blizzard in Game 6.
Kurtis Chapman made stopped all 27 shots he faced, while Brett Epp stopped 19 of 20 shots.
In the end it was Chase Brackel playing the hero with the game winner coming at 1:16 into the first period.
The Portage Terriers now head back to the Western Canada Cup.
This year it will be held in Penticton, BC from April 29th to May 7th.
