Emma Jensen's rink picked up a Bronze Medal over the weekend at Under 18 Provincials in Springfield.
The medal was very much earned as the team needed to win three straight games on the Saturday, including a 9 o'clock tiebreaker, just to get into Playoffs.

Jensen talks about the feeling going into that tiebreaker game.

"We were definitely came into that tiebreaker game pretty confident and ready to play. We definitely didn't know what was going to happen because we did lose against that team before in the round robin, and we just wanted to go out there, play our best, and play a great game and see what the outcome was going to be."

According to Jensen, the Bronze medal win is a great stepping stone for the team.

"It'll give us more confidence coming into (Bonspiels)., Last year we came in 4th, and it kind of gave us confidence, maybe we could go one step up and keep on getting there, and hopefully one year, maybe winning it."

Jensen explains what's next for the team.

"Definitely planning out the next season. I know we do some dry-land training, but planning out is a big thing. Seeing what our out-puts are going to be, what are goals are for next season, and what we want to accomplish."

The team still has some opportunities to win Under 18 Provincials down the road, as three of the four players on the team are 15 years old, while the other player is only 16.
