Swan River's Karter Meyn has lost out of the U18 Mixed Doubles Provincials in Springfield.
Meyn started the day with a four o'clock draw against Brett Walter out of Elmwood, which the Meyn rink lost 7-4.
The Swan River duo dropped to the B-side, then completed a miraculous comeback against Jenessa Rutter from Carman, 9-8 in the six o'clock draw, moving on to the B-side semi.
But that's where the luck ran out, as the Meyn rink dropped a 13-3 decision in the late-night draw against Sean Flatt out of St. Vital.
The bonspiel continues tomorrow with playoffs.
