The Parkland Rangers will officially make an appearance in the Manitoba Midget Hockey League post season.

The Rangers defeated the Norman Northstars 5-2 Saturday to clinch and topped them 7-2 on Sunday for good measure.

The Rangers will meet with the Winnipeg Wild in the first round. The Wild swept the season series 4-0, but the last game was the closest, decided by just one goal in a 4-3 win.

The Rangers finish the 2016-17 regular season in 8th with 40 points and an 18-22-4 record.
