The Parkland Rangers once again pulled off a 5-4 overtime win over one of the top teams in the Manitoba Midget Hockey League.

Mark and Andrew Liwiski scored all 5 goals in the winning effort over the second place Yellowhead Chiefs.

Andrew Liwiski got the Rangers on the board with 3.7 seconds left in the first period to head into the break tied 1-all.

Mark Liwiski scored gave the Rangers their first lead of the game with a go-ahead marker in the second. The Chiefs answered Liwiski's goal 10 seconds later, and got back into the lead with another goal before the second intermission.

In the third the Chiefs doubled their lead 4-2. An overzealous celebration from one of the Chiefs players lit a fire under the Rangers.

Mark Liwiski scored answered back 11 seconds later to bring the Rangers within one, then brother Andrew scored just over a minute later to tie the game as momentum began to shift.

Mark Liwiski scored the overtime winner, and his third of the game for the Rangers to earn them their second consecutive 5-4 OT win.

The Rangers will try to make it three in a row when they take on the Winnipeg clubs this weekend, the Wild and the Thrashers.
