The Dauphin Kings have swapped defensemen with the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.
The Kings have sent Trevor Kavanaugh to Wayway in exchange for defenseman Riley Shamray.
Shamray dressed for the WHL's Lethbridge Hurricanes for 5 games this season and played in 58 contests for the Wolverines last season, collecting 27 points.
Shamray is a '98 birth year and will a part of the Kings plans over the next couple of years.
The Kings head to Steinbach Friday for a weekend back-to-back series.
