The Dauphin Clippers Rugby 7s team finished with a 3-1 record during their jamboree Monday.
The Dauphin Clippers rugby 7s jamboree was cut short missing the last three games due to lightning, but before the day came to an end the Clippers won three, then dropped a close contest to rivals Souris.
In three jamborees the Clippers finished 12-2, both loses against Souris. Souris defeated Dauphin 7-0 in the Clippers lone loss yesterday.
The game was one of the closest on the day, a stalemate back in forth in the middle of the field until eventually Souris managed to score a try with two Clippers injured.
Souris also scored on the conversion, only the second scored the entire day. Kickers struggled in the cold and wet conditions.
The Clippers rugby 7s season is now done; however, seven Clippers will go on to play in the rugby 7s regional competition as members of team Westman next weekend.
