Grandview's Koby Morrisseau and Foxwarren's Dawson Barteaux are headed to Calgary for Canada's National Under-17 Development Camp.
Hockey Canada's National U-17 Dev Camp starts today in Calgary at the Markin MacPhail Centre.
The camp starts today and wraps up August 2.
Grandview's Koby Morrisseau and Foxwarren's Dawson Barteaux are there amoung 111 attendees.
Eventually 66 of 111 will be selected for to represent Canada on Team Canada Black, Team Canada Red, or Team Canada White in the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
That tournament takes place October 30 - November 5 in Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
Both players were selected in the first round of the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft. Morrisseau was selected 9th overall by the Spokane Chiefs while Barteaux was taken 14th overall by the Regina Pats. Morrisseau spent last year with the Parkland Midget Rangers, Barteaux with the Yellowhead Cheifs Midget team.
