A string of great performances saw the Dauphin Clippers varsity boys' volleyball advance to the final in the zone championships.

They lost that match against Neelin but were presented with another opportunity to qualify for the provincial championships thanks to their success to date. On Tuesday, they made it count. Playing in a wildcard match against Beliveau, the Clippers put together another great performance and qualified for the big dance.

They swept Beliveau, 25-21, 25-23, and 25-22. They will play in the 'AAA' provincial event this weekend at Westgate Mennonite Collegiate in Winnipeg. Their pool includes John Taylor, Niverville and Louis-Riel. Game one is Thursday at 10:05 a.m.
