The Dauphin Kings welcomed the Waywayseecappo Wolverines to town on Sunday afternoon and embarrased them.
Led by a four-point performance from Matthew Thomas, the Kings hammered Waywayseecappo, 8-0, in front of a great crowd at the rink. Cayden Glover scored another two goals for Dauphin while Nathan Lenoski scored his first as a King and added another to finish with two points.
Ethan Stewart, Joey Kubas, Thomas, and Ashton Paul also scored for Dauphin while Cole Sheffield finished with 30 saves for his second shutout of the season.
Dauphin (6-2) will now head out on the road beginning with a rematch on Tuesday in Waywayseecappo (3-5). Darnell Duff and Jeff Henson will have the call of that game starting with the Parkland Source for Sports pregame show at 6:45.
