After two weeks of play, the Parkland U-18 Rangers are tied atop the Manitoba U-18 AAA Hockey League.

The Rangers used an outstanding performance from Kyle Pelletier as they completed a weekend sweep with a 3-2 win against the Eastman Selects. Sunday's win followed Saturday's thrilling overtime win.

The Rangers have now won four straight games to start the season and find themselves tied atop the league with the Brandon Wheat Kings, who swept Kenora this weekend. Quinten Fisk continued his impressive start to the season as he scored his fifth goal while Alex Campbell also scored for Parkland.

That led up to Ryzlie Nepinak scoring his first of the season and it was the winner. Pelletier turned away 34 shots in the win.

Parkland (4-0) heads to Portage to play Central Plains next Saturday before heading to Interlake next Sunday. Their next home game is Friday, October 18 when Southwest comes to town.
